FAQs
How long will my tattoo take?
The time it will take to complete your tattoo depends on the size, placement, and if you get black and grey or color. Large color tattoos take the longest, and sometimes it can take a good 30 minutes or more to get your stencil just right because I want to make sure you’re 100% happy and confident with the placement. Most of my flash designs can be completed in 4 hours or less, with the exception of a few 6”+ color pieces.
How much will my tattoo cost?
My rate is $120/hr, and the total cost of your tattoo depends on size, placement, and if it’s in color or black and grey. Most of my flash can be completed in 4 hours or less, with the exception of large (6”+) color pieces. So for example, a 3” black and grey tattoo should take around 60-90 minutes totaling between $120-$180.
*If your tattoo is completed in under and hour, you will still be charged $120, as this is my appointment minimum - with the exception of finger and word/angel number tattoos.
What’s the deal with deposits?
I take a $50 deposit to book flash and $100 to book a custom tattoo. Your deposit locks in your appointment spot and will count towards the total cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are non-refundable and forfeited if you don't show up to your appointment or are more than 15 minutes late, as they cover time spent drawing (for customs), setting up for your tattoo, and wasted supplies. You will also lose your deposit if you reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, as it’s harder to fill your spot last minute.
What payment types do you accept?
Deposits are taken online via credit card or PayPal. Your remaining balance will be due at the end of your appointment. I accept cash 🤑, Venmo, PayPal, credit cards, and I now offer Afterpay and Klarna! If you’d like to use a credit card or pay in 4 interest free installments with Afterpay or Klarna, just let me know before your appointment time. Also, gratuity will not be included your invoice, so if you’d like to tip bring cash/Venmo.
*Afterpay and Klarna have an approval process, so if you’ve never used them before and aren’t sure if you’ll get approved, bring an alternative form of payment.
Do you offer any other appointment times outside of what’s currently on your booking calendar?
If you can’t find a time that works for you, or if you’re coming from out of town and need to lock in a specific day and time you don’t see available on my calendar, feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to find a time that works for both of us.
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
Hey, life happens! You’re welcome to reschedule your appointment as long as it’s within at least 24 hours of your original appointment time. There is a rescheduling link in your confirmation email, and this is better than just canceling and booking a new time because your deposit will transfer over to your new appointment.
*Rescheduling can only be done once. If you need to reschedule a second time, you will need to cancel and make a new appointment with another deposit.
Oops, I’m going to be late to my appointment! What do I do?
I have a strict 15 minute late policy. If you will be up to 15 minutes late, reach out on Instagram or email me to give me a heads up. If you’re running more than 15 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to be book another appointment time with a new deposit.
I want a custom tattoo. What’s that process like?
Start by filling out this short custom request form. After submitting your form, you'll hear back from me within 48 hours. I'll respond via email with a price estimate and link to book your appointment. When booking your appointment, you'll put down a $100 deposit that will go towards the total cost of your tattoo. I’ll email you your tattoo design within 48 hours of your appointment, so you can request edits and make sure it’s exactly what you want before having it tattooed.
Can you make tweaks to flash designs?
Heck yeah! If you’d like to personalize or slightly change one of my flash designs, just email me at hello@jesspleasetattoos.com If you’ve already booked an appointment, you must request changes to your design at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time.
